our bed & breakfast rooms
We have three en-suite rooms upstairs, simply decorated in an Arts and Crafts style with Farrow & Ball paints. The diamond-paned casement windows, furniture, prints and bits and bobs create a very homely and individual feel to the rooms.
Rooms 1 and 2 look out over the River Twrch, Room 3 faces the village and Cothi valley. All of the rooms have digital radio and TV, with creature comforts like quality biscuits, tea and coffee plus a complimentary decanter of port - A welcome tipple on arrival or perhaps a digestif after a fine meal in the restaurants.
And so, to bed. The king-size beds are extremely comfortable, topped with pillows, duvets and mattresses filled with British wool – a blessing for allergy sufferers. Bathrooms are finished in a simple style with Rooms 1 and 3 having refreshing showers while Room 2 has a bath for those who prefer a soak. Quality toiletries from the Bramley range are provided. Room 2 also affords a welcome for a dog travelling with human companions.
Breakfasts are high quality, cooked to order at the time agreed the night before: juices, cereals, muesli, bread and jams; English and Welsh Breakfasts – the latter with Cockles and Lava Bread – eggs cooked every which way and local sausages and bacon. Whatever you have planned for the coming day, our plan is to give you a great night’s sleep and a breakfast that will set you up for whatever lies ahead.
