our current menu selection:

beer garden

Our beer garden offers ample outside seating for when the weather is on our side, with shelter when it's required! The wonderful views over the rivers Cothi and Twrch has helped our gardens be listed in Olive magazine's best 16 beer gardens in the country.

Sit at one of our River View tables and enjoy the view that Roman soldiers would have had from the ramparts - the remains are just a metre below your feet! The Dolaucothi Arms and it's gardens occupy a substantial part of the site of Roman Luentinum, the Auxiliary Fort that guarded and managed the Dolaucothi Gold Mines. When you visit, ask us for more information.

food

Our Summer Menu combines a range of favourites for Lunches, Light Meals and Dinner. In addition we always feature Specials Boards in the Restaurant with some more Main Courses along with Starters and Puddings. These change on a daily basis as does our Sunday Lunch Menu. So, the Sunday Menu published here is a sample to indicate the options typically available.

We are extremely sensitive to the needs of customers that suffer from food allergies. Please ensure that you explain your requirements to your waiter at the time of ordering.

"I love Laura's Mediterranean cooking. But, for my birthday, all of my     guests wanted her amazing pies - even though it was summer! If you           haven't tried them before, you really must!! Dr. Les Jones

drink
We stock an extensive selection of drinks, including Welsh real ales from Gower Brewery and Evan Evans. We also have a selection of traditional ciders from award winning Gwynt y Ddraig. Our wines are supplied by Celtic Wines and if you live close enough, we have a Wine Club that meets quarterly for tasting and tuition. We keep finding interesting Gin and if we carry on at this rate will need to extend the bar!
